About this calculator
Travel is easy to forget in a quote. This prices both the vehicle and the unbilled time on the road.
How it’s calculated
Vehicle = kilometres × your per-km cost. Labour = drive time × your hourly cost.

- Kilometres driven
- 600
- Vehicle cost
- $438.00
- Hours on the road
- 10
- Labour while driving

Tips from the trade
- The CRA’s reasonable per-kilometre allowance (73¢ for the first 5,000 km in 2026, then 67¢) is a useful benchmark for vehicle cost. Check the current figure each year.
Results are estimates for planning and pricing. Check quantities against your drawings, the manufacturer’s data and the building code adopted in your province before ordering.
